Rivada Networks works with Federal, State and local governments and agencies to improve their communications and information technology infrastructures. Rivada Networks has assisted in several large scale communications projects ranging from emergency incident response to day-to-day communications networks operations and management. Rivada Networks has assisted USNORTHCOM in its Border Security program to protect US borders from illegal crossings. This involved incorporating Full Motion Video (FMV), feed from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), into USNORTHCOM’s Deployable Comms mobile vehicles. Rivada Networks provided Information Awareness and Assessment (IAA), equipment and services as well as secured internet video distribution and caching for USNORTHCOM. Rivada Networks procured, installed, integrated, and operated IAA technology into mobile command and control vehicles. Rivada Networks provided training and maintenance for deployed units and selected USNORTHCOM personnel.
Rivada Networks provided the following support to the USNORTHCOM (NC) J6 to support their Full Motion Video (FMV) requirements for the Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) mission at NC;
• Procured, installed and integrated IAA equipment, ancillary equipment, and antennas. One set of equipment was installed in a remote mobile command and control vehicle located in Colorado Springs, CO. A further two sets of equipment were installed in two separate mobile command and control vehicles located in San Antonio, TX.
• Provided training for selected personnel on operations and maintenance procedures. Training was conducted at a designated government facility over the course of three days.
• Provided extended operations and maintenance for all equipment, ancillary equipment, and antennas for a period of 18 months.
• Provided secure internet video distribution and caching services for a period of three (3) months. Video distribution and access included password and account protection, web portal interface to include links for IAA / FMV products, and video storage and caching to allow for archival access of IAA / FMV products.
