| DEPLOYABLE NETWORK | TOTAL INTEROPERABILITY |
The Rivada Deployable Network consists of standalone systems that can be used when no other infrastructure exists, using satellite backhaul for connectivity to remote networks or operating in unison with other networks enhancing reach, capacity and effectiveness. These are used to provide communication on a private network at a special event or during an incident where normal communication systems are overloaded or not available. The system has the following attributes;
- The system is compact and light and is built from standard 19 inch rack mount components. The system
measures 19” in width and approximately 26” in height. The entire system is packaged in three 150 lb transit
cases and can be carried by hand or vehicle mounted.
- The system is typically operational 20 minutes after arrival at the incident site, offering full reach-back via satellite
to the outside world. The set up time is less than 10 minutes is only a local network is required.
- This solution provides users with immediate access to a high-speed voice and data network at the incident scene.
- It allows complete interoperability between the diverse legacy systems that the various first responders will inevitably rely upon. This significantly improves situational awareness and unity of effort.
- IP Gateways are used to achieve interoperability between disparate LMR networks and cellular handsets.
- IP Gateways also remove the geographic dependency on radio system communication requirements.

- A commercial carrier approach, managed by Rivada Networks, is used for routine communications or during a large scale event. Wireless priority access along with intelligent traffic management using pre-established procedures and provisioning guarantees access and system security over the commercial network.
